I learned here how to make sure I am drinking enough  water and why I should: (Edited 1/13/2010)
I have had trouble with asthma all my life and recently (Nov 2005) found a remedy that cured me. Salt and water. This remedy, I understand, is also useful for more than 60% of all of our ailments. It is May 2009, and I have had no asthma to date, nor have I used an inhaler (I do not even own an inhaler). Also, I have not needed to use the Salt as a sedative as I needed to in the first few months. I am still drinking the salt water, as prescribed.

www.WaterCure.com (Start by getting hydrated.) Example: Use a 1/2 oz water per pound body weight, daily, and add 6 grams of Coarse Celtic Sea Salt (CCSS) per gallon of water. If you are using the Coarse Celtic Sea Salt, pictured  below, then a level Measuring Tablespoon (not Teaspoon) will give about 12 grams of salt. This is the amount needed for 2 gallons of water. This "6 grams CCSS / gallon of water" is good for starters, but I am finding with my own body, that it now (4 years later) seems to be doing much better when I use no CCSS in the water. As I eat I scatter CCSS on my plate and dab the food in it. The amount of CCSS that I consume daily is about the same, but the water has dropped from 1.5 gallons/day to 0.5 gallons/day, and my average sleep time seems to be dropping to 4.5 hours per day, see my chart at item: "6.0" below.
Before starting to eat any meal, drink some water to test if it is actually hunger for food or it is thirst. Many times we are mistaking thirst for hunger and trying to satisfy it by eating food.
For use with asthma, on the night I started, I drank 2 glasses of  water and (as prescribed) let a pinch of salt dissolve on my tongue as I lay in bed to sleep. Using the salt in this way uses it as a sedative. Also it breaks up the mucus in the lungs. I used this procedure in place of using my inhaler (Alupent), which I had used the preceding night, but this night and all since I did not need my inhaler. After this amazing proof I began drinking salt water, in place of all other drinks except for milk, which I was also allergic to but am no more.

Note: Since 2008, I have not used this type health improvement. I have found that the Dr. Hay system 5.0 helps my body so much, that my body seems to take care of ALL of its own issues.
One test sequence I did near the end of 2008 using the Clark Biowave Generator (Zapper --> Equipment category), was as follows (as I remember):
 1) I had drank from a 1/2 gallon bottle of, out of date, Raw Cow's milk and gotten a stomach ache, almost immediately.
 2) I tried the Zapper and as it ran its 7 minute standard cycle, the pain left me and did not return.
 3) I tried the Zapper 1 day later on a 2nd 1/2 gallon of milk that had the same expired date, and the pain left me as before.
 4) Since this test was so quick I tested the Magnet Food Zapper accessory (Zappicator --> Equipment category). I put bottle #1 on the Zappicator as directed and connected the Zapper to it and ran the Zapper.
 5) I drank the milk from bottle #1 and got no stomach ache!
 6) I again tried the milk from bottle #2 and got a stomach ache, then Zapped my self and the pain again left.

I had an interest in doing this test sequence because I intended to tell a client of mine that was having health issues, about this equipment that Dr. Clark had developed. I "assumed" that after telling him about this, that he being an engineer as I am, would ask: "How do I know this Dr. Clark equipment works?". This test sequence gave me an answer for him, which I used.

4.0 I learned here how my eyes work, and what is helpful to improve them: (Edited 1/13/2010)
Currently (5/15/09), I am using Dr. Bates eye correction program, and it is working. I was seeing better as the weeks went by, then a year or so went by and I saw very little improvement. About two months ago, when I began changing my eating habits as per the Dr. Hay teaching (see: 5.0), one of the early health improvements was that my eye chart results took an immediate jump in improvement . My last eye test for driving was in March 2009, before I knew about item 5.0. My vision has improved to the extent that I no longer wear glasses (which included bifocals) except to drive, and the driving glasses have no bifocals and are greatly reduced in power. 
The Eye Chart I use is from the Central-Fixation site and I print it at 50%. This makes the 20/20 distances 1/2 the chart distances: Chart .PDF Download

5.0 I learned here how I need to eat in a way that gives my body the nutrition it needs to repair the damage I have caused it over the years:  (Edited 2/13/2010)
This concerns food types, when to eat them (only when hungry), in what ratio of each
, and many examples of people that regained their health. These directions also include procedures for regaining health from advanced poor health issues.
Note:
I, at an earlier date (before 2/13/2010), had posted a "Food Combining Chart" that was touted as being the work of Dr. Hay. I have seen so many inconsistencies between that chart and what was taught in Hay's and Alsaker's books, that I have removed the chart. One of the main errors was that the chart taught that Acid Fruit was not to be consumed with Concentrated Protein foods. This was opposite to my own testing, and the Hay and Alsaker teachings. Please forgive me for the earlier posting of the chart.

During March 2009 I begin changing my eating habits using this Hay System, after a friend sent me an email link to an article about "Foods that Fight". After reading the article I ran a search on Dr. Hay, the Doctor credited with the first use and teaching of these ideas. Next, read some of Dr. Hay's books and in March 2009 began implementing his teachings, testing them on myself. I felt the change in my body the first day, by having only an Orange and a glass of raw milk for breakfast. I thought the mixture would give me a stomach ache and instead I felt good. These teachings of how to treat my body have been such a wonderful change, that I cannot even contemplate returning to my past feeding habits.
Another one of Hay's and Alsaker's teachings is that, our time of sleep is the time used by our immune system to clean up our body's wastes. When I read this it sounded reasonable to me, but it what got my attention was when my life long sleep time dropped quickly from being 7 to 8 hours to 5 to 6 hours. I also now fall asleep within minutes of laying down and, as taught, wake up ready to jump out of bed, not wanting: "just another few minutes more to sleep".

My suggestion to you, the reader, is that you take a copy of these books and do some personal studies. Then make your decision as to this Hay System's possible benefits to you, AFTER doing some tests on yourself.

I believe you will notice, Lord willing, within a one or two week test, some positive changes in your health.

Notes:

1) 2/16/2010:  Salt Tests: I have been drinking water at approximately the rate of 1.5 gallons per day, with 6 grams of Coarse Celtic Sea salt (CCSS) per gallon, since the end of 2005. Please see: Item 1.0 above. I have began a test (mid Sept 2009) to drink the water without the salt, and put more salt, as it turned out, on my food.
This Monday AM October 12th, the thought occurred to me that my relatively erratic blood pressure readings also started around "mid Sept 2009"... hmm. Noting this, I returned to the 6g of salt per gallon as was the prescribed amount of salt/gallon of water, the next day.
Recently (1/18/2010) I began again to drink water with no salt and eat using more CCSS on my food. What I noticed was that I would do in my hurry to eat was to neglect the CCSS. To make a reminder for my self I now dump some salt in a plate to dip my food pieces in. (2/16/2010) This is now working well for me, and I am seeing my salt consumption decline.

My current weight can be seen in the Blood Pressure Logs (above). Before I started the salt and water my weight had been stable at 185 lbs. This was down from 220 lbs in the early 1990s, when I found that my blood pressure would stay at or a little below 141/91 if I stopped eating things with refined sugar. Once I dropped to 140/90 I stopped taking my blood pressure medicine. The only medicine I had taken since stopping my blood pressure medicine was an inhaler for my "life long asthma" (See: Item 1.0 above for how this was cured).

11/5/2009: At Dr. Bortz's  suggestion (a doctor working at a walk in clinic near my home) of early August 2009, I began a log of my blood pressure and some other items like, notes, temperature, weight, sleep hours and food.  The Star Office Spread sheet, that I used,  is in the .zip file for anyone's use.
By the way, the Star Office Spread Sheet had all the things that I needed to help me show the data in chart form. I only needed to "carefully" read the Help information (Star Office Suit is about $35 USD).

I have completed the removal of the metal from 19 of my teeth that had metal fillings, and removed my one tooth that had a root canal, as of Oct 30th, 2007. I had called the phone number listed on Dr. Huggins site and found a dentist trained by Dr. Higgins, and had my teeth repaired:

10.0 Water Filters: (Edited 5/15/2009)
Many of my friends and myself have been using water filters for our houses and/or smaller ones for drinking and showering. There are 2 types of filters that I am acquainted with, activated charcoal, and fluoride. The charcoal filter removes traces of almost all toxins including chlorine, and the fluoride filter is needed typically when the incoming water has fluoride added to it.

Smaller filters used normally on a sink top and  in place of the existing shower head. The fluoride filter is in the blue top housing (Note: the white garden hose shown in the photo, is normally not used. Only in this photo is it shown as a suggestion for a person that travels and wants filtered water from their hotel shower connection. I have avoided eating bread for some time because I could not find a bread that was from freshly ground grain and had no extra ingredients. Dr. Clark's 2.0 comment on freshly ground grain was, as I remember: "Two weeks after grinding grain there is no nutrition left, only calories remain.". Also, there is a chapter in the book called: "The Master Key to Health" 5.0, called "Cereals" that has some useful things to say about whole wheat and its various uses.
About the time I started the Hay method 5.0 (in early March 2009), my wife, returning from a visit with her sister in Chico, CA, brought home a part of a loaf of bread, purchased by her sister for me. Her sister had bought it at the Farmers Market on Saturday. I looked at the label and was surprised to see it was all organic and made from "Freshly milled Organic Grains". I tried it and was very pleased with the bread.
Being over 200 miles from Chico I found their number and called to see if I could order some loaves and began to do so. Currently (6/24/2009), I have put up a simple site (the link is shown above) for them so others can do the same as myself in obtaining this unique Whole Wheat Bread.

Cramps and how to do to stop them ( www.Running-Cramp-Relief.com )
I ordered the
book by Paul Newland info(at)running-cramp-relief.com "The Ultimate Cramp Busting Guide" $40 (actually a PDF downloadable book) and it was loaded with items to help with cramps. I had no cramps last night and slept well. I am well pleased with the information from this purchase.
I was interested in this topic because of the following:
1) I knew I was not paying attention to my health in several areas since I had begun to work again. Which areas should I focus on?
2) I was getting night cramps. What can be done here?
3) I was now getting cramps after eating Carbohydrate meals. What is causing this?
4) I travelled 2 times to visit a Bible Fellowship House meeting in the Los Angles CA area on 1/30/2010 return on 1/31 and 2/14/2010 return in the evening. This is a 370 mile trip each way (approximately 7 hours driving). I got cramps on both trips, and when returning at the last 2 hours I began to doze while driving. What can be done here?
This book and the other simular extra items sent are helping me understand a method to correct these problems
and arrange the order and urgency of each.
I bought this Guide, sight unseen, since the author was the one who was using this on himself, and already had also helped many others with this problem, in his line of work.
